PERSISTENCE

A documentary about choosing meaningful over comfortable

Expected: January 2026

About the Story

Meet Kirsty and Hardin, a couple who had nearly everything they could wish for in before their radical change in life, except one important thing: time. With work and daily life pulling them in every direction, they felt they were losing the moments that mattered most with their children, Eia and Arlo. Persistence tells the story of a family of four living on the road in their self made camper van. A life that looks simple and beautiful from the outside; climbing together, traveling in their van, raising their children close to nature. But behind the quiet mornings and the wide landscapes lies a reality built on constant effort, sacrifice, and resilience.

Why this story should be shared with the world?

reminds us that later may never come. It shows that it’s possible to build a life around what truly matters, together, even with two young children and a home on wheels. This isn’t the story of pro climbers getting paid to live their dream. It’s the story of a regular family who once had stable jobs and a comfortable life, but gave it up to chase something more meaningful. They chose less to gain more, more freedom, more fulfilment and a deeper connection as a family. Now, they live month to month, juggling financial uncertainty and the everyday challenges of parenting on the road.
